Magus Automations (“Magus,” “we,” “us”) provides automation and infrastructure consulting for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our booking process, how we use it, and the choices you have — including around SMS and phone communication.

Information we collect

When you use the “Start a conversation” booking form, we collect the information you provide directly:

• Name, business email, and phone number
• Company name and website
• Business details you share: industry, team size, operational friction areas, desired outcomes, current situation, and timeline
• The appointment time and timezone you select
• Whether you opted in to receive marketing calls and texts

We use our own privacy-friendly website analytics to understand how this website is used. It sets no cookies, uses no advertising pixels, and does not store your IP address. For each page visit we record the page, the website that referred you, any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), a general device type based on screen width, and your country, plus which steps of the booking form were reached. To count visitors without identifying them, we combine your IP address and browser details with a random value that changes every day and keep only a one-way hash of the result. The daily value is then deleted, so visits can’t be linked across days or traced back to you. This data is stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) and is not shared with or sold to anyone.

We do not use advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this website. Netlify may also log standard technical information (such as IP address and request timestamps) as part of ordinary web server operation.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Schedule and prepare for your conversation with us
• Send you a calendar invitation and appointment details
• Follow up with you by email, phone, or — only if you’ve opted in — text message
• Maintain a record of our relationship with you in our customer relationship management (CRM) system

SMS & phone communication

If you check the SMS/marketing consent box on our booking form, you agree to receive marketing calls and texts from Magus Automations, including by autodialer, at the phone number you provide.

• Consent is never a condition of booking a conversation or receiving service from us.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, for any purpose.

Who we share information with

We share general business information only with essential service providers (such as HubSpot for CRM management and Google Calendar for scheduling) strictly as needed to run our operations. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, including service providers, affiliates, or external partners for any purpose. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain our business relationship with you and for legitimate business, legal, or record-keeping purposes. You can request deletion at any time using the contact information below.

Your choices

• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
• Opt out of website analytics in your browser by opening any page of this site with ?notrack=1 added to the address (for example, magusautomations.com/?notrack=1).
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us below.

Children’s privacy

This website and our services are directed at businesses and business professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we’ll update the effective date above.
